How Junk Out LLC collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Template draft. This document is a generated starting point for Junk Out LLC and must be reviewed and finalized by a licensed Florida attorney before public launch. It does not constitute legal advice.

1.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, post a job, submit a quote, or communicate with us: name, email address, phone number, service address, job photos and videos, payment identifiers, and messages exchanged on the Platform.

We automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences.

2.How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the Platform (dispatch, matching, escrow, notifications).
  • To send email notifications for job updates (transactional messages required for a job in progress are exempt from marketing opt-outs).
  • To calculate fees, remit payouts, and generate tax documents (1099-NEC for Crews).
  • To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

3.Sharing

We share Customer-provided information (name, phone, address, job description, photos) with the assigned Crew as required to perform the job. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (email delivery, storage, payments, analytics) bound by confidentiality obligations, and with law-enforcement or courts where required by law.

4.Data Retention

We retain account and job records for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request earlier deletion subject to those retention requirements.

5.Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence (including Florida residents under the FDBR, and California residents under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise any of these rights, email support@junkoutllc.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

6.Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7.Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords). No system is 100% secure; please protect your credentials and notify us immediately at support@junkoutllc.com of suspected compromise.

8.Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party providers for email delivery, cloud storage of job media, payment processing, and analytics. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy notices.

9.Changes to this Policy

Material changes will be announced by email and by an in-app banner at least 14 days before taking effect.
